My name is Nicolette Ferrante and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) under the clinical supervision of Danielle Brown, MS, LPC, NCC, ACS.  I am committed to providing a supportive and empathetic space where individuals can explore and conquer their challenges. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and address the root causes of issues, utilizing CBT, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused techniques. My goal is not only to help alleviate problematic symptoms, but to arm clients with practical tools for lasting positive change. With a genuine desire for my clients' well-being, I strive to create a partnership focused on achieving their unique goals, ensuring they receive the personalized care and support they deserve. I approach each therapeutic journey with the conviction that through understanding, resilience, and personalized support, people cannot only overcome obstacles but also thrive in their pursuit of a truly fulfilling and meaningful life. Everyone has a unique story, and I am here to listen, understand, and guide you in yours!

Throughout my diverse professional journey, I have treated a broad age spectrum, ranging from 13 to 70 years old.  During my last year of graduate school, I dedicated a year to a partial hospitalization outpatient program where I provided individual and group counseling.  I have a vast scope of experience treating varying diagnoses and understanding different cultures and populations.  I have worked closely with clients dealing with severe anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, and life challenges. As a counselor, I pride myself on my listening skills, patience, and understanding - crucial assets in comprehending and addressing the needs of the clients I serve. I embrace the art of personalizing interventions to ensure clients receive the most effective care. This holistic approach became a cornerstone in my professional philosophy, emphasizing the importance of adapting counseling strategies to each person's unique circumstances.

My specialty areas and training lie mainly in, but are not limited to treating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, self-esteem challenges and stress management. I also treat eating disorders, provide support for LGBTQ+ and gender transitioning/affirmation, and work with couples/relationships.  I enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds!

In my free time I love taking my Shih Tzu, Bandit for a walk or to Dunkin for a pup cup! Coffee and the beach are two of my favorite things. I love spending time with those I love whether it’s going out for a bite to eat or hanging in and watching a movie! I enjoy self-care nights in as well!

My genuine passion lies within assisting others, establishing a safe and welcoming atmosphere where you can genuinely be heard and understood. I aim to craft a warm and inviting space for you and am excited to go on this journey together!
