Finding a therapist who truly understands and accepts you can make all the difference. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel comfortable being themselves, speak openly about their experiences, and work through life's challenges without fear of judgment.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide virtual therapy for adults ages 18–50 throughout New Jersey, specializing in working with women and LGBTQ+ individuals across the spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations, including gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, and nonbinary adults. I'm passionate about cultivating an inclusive, sex-positive therapeutic environment where individuality is respected, diverse relationships are understood, and clients feel genuinely supported.
I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation rather than a clinical checklist. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, and I value the trust and connection that develop through our work together. While growth can sometimes be uncomfortable, it can also bring moments of clarity, empowerment, humor, and meaningful connection.
Above all, I want you to feel that you can show up exactly as you are, knowing that your experiences matter and that we can work together toward the changes that feel meaningful to you.

A Space to Be Yourself.
I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the understanding that your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lived experiences are deeply connected.
Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, and build on your existing strengths. My goal is to help you develop greater self-understanding, practical coping strategies, and the confidence to navigate challenges in ways that align with your values.
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating additional approaches based on your individual needs, including:
-
LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
-
Trauma-Informed Therapy
-
Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based Interventions
-
Person-Centered Therapy
-
Solution-Focused Therapy
-
Strengths-Based Therapy
-
Family Systems Therapy
I recognize that identity, culture, relationships, and personal experiences all influence how we navigate the world. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to your goals, helping you move forward at your own pace and define what meaningful change looks like for you.

Rooted in Experience, Guided by Compassion
Throughout my career, I've supported individuals and families across outpatient counseling, residential treatment, and community-based mental health programs. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of how our identities, relationships, and life experiences shape emotional well-being.
At HiTOPS, I facilitated support groups for LGBTQ+ youth, transgender and nonbinary individuals, and their families, fostering connection, affirmation, and belonging. At Carrier Clinic's East Mountain Youth Lodge, I provided individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
My outpatient psychotherapy experience has further expanded my work with adults facing diverse mental health and relationship concerns. Together, these experiences have shaped my compassionate, flexible, and individualized approach, grounded in the belief that meaningful therapy begins with understanding each person's unique story.
Virtual Therapy Across New Jersey
Online counseling offers a flexible and convenient way to receive compassionate mental health care while fitting therapy into your everyday life. Whether you're balancing work, parenting, school, or other responsibilities, virtual therapy allows you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Our sessions offer an opportunity to step away from everyday pressures and focus on what's important to you. Whether we're making sense of difficult experiences, questioning long-held beliefs, or looking at familiar situations from a different perspective, we'll explore how your experiences, relationships, and expectations influence the way you see yourself and navigate the world. The focus is on gaining insight, recognizing your strengths, and finding ways forward that reflect your own values and priorities.

A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, I enjoy running, practicing yoga, spending time with family and friends, and escaping to the beach whenever I can. I'm also a fan of audiobooks, podcasts, and a good crime documentary. I value finding a balance between staying active, discovering new interests, and making time to slow down and recharge.
I understand that finding the right therapist is a personal decision, and feeling genuinely comfortable with someone matters. My style is relaxed, authentic, and conversational, and I believe therapy can make room for both meaningful conversations and moments of humor. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We can start with whatever feels most important to you and take it from there.
If you're considering therapy, I'd love the opportunity to connect through a complimentary consultation and see if we're a good fit.
