Hi, I’m Zach, and I’m here to walk alongside you through your mental health journey! I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor in NJ, under the direct supervision of Danielle Brown, MS, LPC, NCC, ACS. My aim is to help you find practical ways to reach your goals and learn life-changing skills to meet your wellness needs.  I developed my counseling skills working in a community mental health setting prior to moving to private practice.

I have experience working with children and adults, as well as with couples, families, and groups. To assist my clients in meeting their goals, I pull from a range of different techniques and evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Narrative Therapy. I specialize in supporting individuals through Anxiety, Depression, Post-traumatic Stress, OCD, Grief, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, and Multicultural Experiences, and also provide support for First-Responders and Domestic Violence survivors. That said, this list is not a limitation to what we can cover in session. Our time will always be tailored to your immediate needs and I will adapt as you do.
As both a first generation Asian-American and former first responder, I’ve witnessed countless reasons why a person may feel lost, stuck, or silenced. These experiences shaped my mission: to bridge the gap between mental health and those who feel that their environment, background, or even their own mind is working against them. Together, we’ll work to bring clarity to your experiences and reinforce your sense of self, all while equipping you with the tools to navigate your unique circumstances and relationships. If you feel even the slightest bit inspired to make a change at this time, let’s start with a conversation. I hope to hear from you soon!
